Our first need is paying customers. Please help us by becoming a customer! Then tell your family and friends about the quality work we did for you and our friendly personality.
Second, are you a lawyer or accountant? We need help with structuring our business and not-for-profit initiative. We want people that make donations be able to receive tax credits.
Third, we’re looking for office space in Southeast Portland, between Division St. and I-84, MLK Jr. Blvd. and 39th Ave. We need two rooms preferably in the same building or within a block of each other: a front desk office space of about 100 sq. ft., and a training room with about a 400 sq. ft. area.
Fourth, can you help us in other ways that we ought to know about? Would you like to join our advisory board?
Fifth, here’s the 20 year plan.
year 0 to 1 : incubation period. Develop the “model” small business company.
year 1 to 3 : gestation period. Grow the model business. Lay the ground work for a franchise model.
year 3 to 5 : birthing period. Split up into non-profit core and franchise model.
year 5 to 20 : childhood period. Focus on economies of scale, increasing operational efficiencies, and using the “profits” to consult and educate others on the socially sustainable business model.
